Your Success next season STARTS NOW!
The Dry Fire Foundry is showing clear positive results with many regular members. Better shooting percentages, faster range times, increased process confindence, and a great way to stay connected to our biathlon community.
New members: simply schedule your 20 minute intro session (it's free).
Why The Dry Fire Foundry?
The Dry Fire Foundry was forged in the chaos of 2020 to provide a structured and easily accessable training opportunity consisting of three 1-hour classes per week. Many amateur biathletes do not have access to a live range nor the time to travel to a range. Dry fire training can help athletes achieve their potential once the biathlon season arrives. TDFF is not intended to replace range time but offers a path to get the USBA recommended amount of dry fire training in the convenience of home and is an easy way to train during mass closures, restrictions, or bad environmental conditions.
Bryn Black
I was introduced to dry fire training and the workouts developed by Sondre Nordberg, author of Dry Fire Training: the road to success in biathlon in 2013. I have experienced the benefits personally and seen the improved results in others from dry fire training. Sondre coached me in preparation for the 2015 Winter World Masters Games in Quebec, Canada which resulted in my performance as the best shooter over three events with 89% targets hit. Since that time, I have had the privilege to work alongside him for many biathlon training events.
Biathlon is a passion I was introduced to during the summer of 2007. I was elected to the board of the Washington Biathlon Association in 2008. It is thrilling for me to introduce this sport to others, help them develop skills, and assist people in reaching individual goals. The year 2020 has brought an interesting opportunity for dry fire training on-line, one that can help us cope with the lack of race opportunities and last beyond shut downs and social distancing. I look forward to meeting other biathlon enthusiasts and guiding your dry fire training in preparation for competing together in the future.
